Since coming home I have made 99 style cupcakes again for the end of term and also a delicious Raspberry Chocolate Torte.
The Torte was the cover recipe from May's Good Food magazine. It was very rich but good. I finally invested in an oven thermometer which is great but I now have another oven issue. The torte is made in two sandwich tins. The one on the right of the oven was ready in the suggested time. The one on the left needed another ten minutes! How can that be???!
Still, it turned out ok. It's a good one for entertaining - you can make it up to 24 hours in advance. I dusted it with icing sugar before I served it but we ate it before I took a picture. Oops!
